The Hisar-class Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV) is a new-generation, indigenous and nationally developed platform being constructed for the Turkish Navy. It is designed to perform a wide range of maritime missions, including maritime patrol and surveillance, SAR, critical infrastructure protection and other maritime security operations.
Designed for MMEA to provide the capability and responsibilities of enforcing maritime laws and maritime safety for marine environmental monitoring and control operations in the Malaysian Economic Exclusion Zone (EEZ).
